Indisputable Delivery
The Zipcio Standard for Client Engagement
WHAT THIS IS
Indisputable Delivery is the standard by which every Zipcio Solutions Architect operates with clients. It is not a checklist or a performance metric. It is a way of thinking - about the client, the engagement, and the relationship - that starts at kickoff and does not stop until the next chapter is underway.
This document is the north star. The five spokes that support it cover the operational detail. When something feels off during an engagement - when you are unsure how to respond to a difficult moment or whether to escalate - come back here first.
THE STANDARD IN PLAIN LANGUAGE
A client who works with Zipcio should finish every engagement feeling three things:
- They got more than they expected.
- They always knew where things stood.
- They want to work with us again.
Everything in the five spokes exists to make those three things true, consistently, across every engagement, for every client.
THE NON-NEGOTIABLES
Two standards do not flex regardless of client pressure, relationship warmth, or internal capacity. These are not guidelines. They are the floor.
Timelines
When a timeline is set, it is a commitment. If a client requests compression, the SA does not agree on the spot. If scope changes, the timeline impact is communicated to the client within 24 hours. If a client is late on a deliverable, the downstream impact on the timeline is named immediately, not absorbed silently. Zipcio does not accept timeline pressure that compromises quality on work already in flight for other clients.
Scope
The SOW is the contract. Out-of-scope requests are not ignored or quietly absorbed - they are acknowledged, validated, documented, and deferred to the next engagement with a clear explanation. Scope creep is the most common way engagements lose quality, margin, and the SA's credibility. Holding the line on scope is not rigidity - it is professionalism.
THE FIVE SPOKES
Each spoke is its own reference document. This hub links them together. Read the spokes in order when you join the team. Return to individual spokes when you need operational guidance on a specific situation.
|
SPOKE 1 - THE PIT STOP CHECK Reading the room. How to assess client health in real time, identify the champion and the skeptic, hold the non-negotiables, and catch drift before it becomes a crisis. |
|
SPOKE 2 - MAKING THEM THE HERO Sharing wins. How to surface momentum throughout the engagement, frame value against what matters to the client, and engineer moments that make your key contact look exceptional inside their organization. |
|
SPOKE 3 - THE YELLOW FLAG Escalation. What requires escalation, how to do it, and the expectation that raising something early - no matter how small - is always the right call. |
|
SPOKE 4 - THE GREEN FLAG Setting up the next chapter. How the retainer or next engagement conversation gets built across the entire engagement - not introduced at the end. |
|
SPOKE 5 - PACE CAR Communication cadence. Response time standards, proactive update triggers, and the scope change communication protocol. |
HOW PERFORMANCE IS REVIEWED
The weekly SA check-in with your Pod Leader is structured around these five spokes. Every active engagement gets a pass through the same five questions each week. This is not a performance review - it is a pulse check designed to keep every client visible and every SA supported.
The metrics that reflect the standard: retainer conversion rate, client satisfaction, engagement health. The standard is the behavior. The metrics are the outcome. When the standard holds, the metrics follow.
